About Us

NABPO started  the summer of 2017, when founding member Naeemah Ford Goldson had an idea to have brunch with some fellow organizers from a Facebook group (Professional Organizing Sisters). Her goal was to gather and connect with other women of color in the organizing and productivity field in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Several organizers from the group attended this meet & greet opportunity in search for other professionals in the area like them to learn from, share experiences, and knowledge with one another. After the event, several decided to meet again to discuss how they could collaborate on future projects. This eventually formed  the professional group known as Ebony & Orderly; a collaboration of premier professional organizers of color which holds conferences, professional development courses, speaking engagements and so much more.   Ebony & Orderly not only provides professional organizing and productivity solutions to clients with organizing needs, their goal is to:


" RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF LIVING AN ORGANIZED LIFE TO THE COMMUNITY WE SERVE."  


The ladies enjoyed their connection so much, that they wanted to create a safe and comfortable environment for like-minded professionals of color to connect, network, and support each other.  So in 2017,  the National Association of Black Professional Organizers (NABPO) was established.

From its humble beginnings, NABPO has grown from its six founding members to nearly 100 members from all over the United States.

NABPO stands to be the network for organizers of color with an array of organizing specialties with background in mental health, education, counseling, finance, healthcare, engineering and more! NABPO stands as one and unites Professional Organizers and Productivity Specialists of color to:
