Our mission is to empower and educate existing and start-up minority and women owned businesses and other disadvantaged entrepreneurs by providing the appropriate resources and referrals that will meet their business needs.

According to SCORE, the average gross income of a Black female- owned business is $24k vs. $143k among all women-owned businesses.  Some reasons include lack of funding or capital, lack of support and resources, and burnout.  We strive to close the gap with our programming and resources.

In addition to basic operating costs, currently funds are primarily used to continue to provide education and resources for our NABPO members through professional learning objectives.  We also offer membership scholarships to current and prospective members experiencing hardship.  The more we grow the more we are able to expand existing programs and resources and add more for our members.
